Using, possessing, or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances on YMCA property or during YMCA-sponsored activities.

Smoking or vaping on YMCA premises, as all our buildings and grounds are smoke-free.

Carrying or concealing weapons or any objects that could be used as weapons.

Engaging in harassment, intimidation, or any menacing behavior through words, gestures, or body language.

Demonstrating physical aggression or threatening behavior towards others.

Employing verbally abusive language, including profanity, shouting, name-calling, or angry outbursts.

Engaging in sexually explicit conversations or behavior, including any form of sexual contact with another person.

Using cellular phones or tablets in locker rooms, sauna/steam rooms, or restrooms.

Wearing attire or body art that goes against our YMCA values.

Committing theft or causing damage to property.

Refusing to leave YMCA premises when requested by staff.

Any person accused or convicted of sexual abuse and registered as a sex offender may be denied access or membership at the YMCA. We perform background checks on all current members and guests before granting access to our facilities.
If you witness any violation of this Code of Conduct, please promptly inform a staff member on duty. Our staff is here to assist you and address any concerns you may have. Temporary suspension of membership and program participation may occur during investigations into alleged violations, with final decisions made accordingly.
