Each summer the Baker County YMCA offers a variety of summer programs. What is available each summer depends on staff and other resources, but generally includes Sports (basketball, soccer, and volleyball), STEAM, Video Production, and Wee Learn & Grow. The information about summer camps is usually released to the public by May of each year.

Swim Lessons

Three Sessions, All Summer Long!

The first session of Summer Swim Lessons will begin June 18th and will end June 28th. Registration is open for all three Summer sessions! Contact the Fitness Center for more information.

Video Production

June 18-21    Ages 7-13   Day Camp

The Video Production Camp combines both the modern generations innate technological aptitude and their love of cinematic pastimes to provide youth with a more profound knowledge and understanding of the filmmaking process. Activities are designed to encourage imagination and develop strong spatial reasoning. Campers will utilize both live-action filming and stop-frame animation.


August 7-9    Ages 8-10 & 11-12   Sports Camp

Campers are supported and challenged by our coaches to learn new skills and improve existing ones through drills, competition, and instruction. We offer progressive training techniques for all skill levels, position specific training, and training with personal feedback.


June 26/28    Ages 4-7 & 7-10   Sports Camp

Ages 4-6: This class is orientated towards elementary age children, and children who have previously participated will build on the skill set they have developed, make notable progress and hone existing skills.
Ages 7-10: The class will build and develop the same skills as the 4-6 camp, with some advanced skills being taught and at a quicker, higher level. Campers will make notable progress and hone existing skills.

Wee Learn & Grow

Three Sessions (June, July, & August)   Ages 2-3 & 4-5     Day Camp

Wee Learn and Grow have different focuses to help campers have fun, learn, grow, and socialize with other children their age. These fun camps will be incredibly active and engaging, designed to keep campers moving, smiling, and having a great time!

HSB Camp

July 5-7    Grade K -2nd & 3-12   Sports Camp

HSBCAMPS, (Hard Work, Sacrifice, Beleive) is America’s fastest growing youth basketball initiative and leader in bringing kids of all ages face-to-face with actual pros. The Y is proud to sponsor Baker’s local HSB camp and offers scholarships to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to participate. August    Ages 6-8 & 9-13   Day Camp

A fun camp incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into projects and hands-on experiments designed to stimulate imagination and encourage creativity.
