Each summer the Baker County YMCA offers a variety of summer programs. What is available each summer depends on staff and other resources, but generally includes Sports (basketball, soccer, and volleyball), STEAM, Video Production, and Wee Learn & Grow. The information about summer camps is usually released to the public by May of each year.

Video Production

Ages 7-13   Day Camp

The Video Production Camp combines both the modern generations innate technological aptitude and their love of cinematic pastimes to provide youth with a more profound knowledge and understanding of the film-making process. Activities are designed to encourage imagination and develop strong spatial reasoning. Campers will utilize both live-action filming and stop-frame animation.

Ages 8-10 & 11-12   Sports Camp

Campers are supported and challenged by our coaches to learn new skills and improve existing ones through drills, competition, and instruction. We offer progressive training techniques for all skill levels, position specific training, and training with personal feedback.

Ages 4-7 & 7-10   Sports Camp

Ages 4-6: This class is orientated towards elementary age children, and children who have previously participated will build on the skill set they have developed, make notable progress and hone existing skills.
Ages 7-10: The class will build and develop the same skills as the 4-6 camp, with some advanced skills being taught and at a quicker, higher level. Campers will make notable progress and hone existing skills.
