Parking Lot Update: Paving the Way for Bigger Things. 

In early July, we embarked on an exciting new project: the creation of a brand-new parking lot for the YMCA. We’re thrilled to announce that the west side, is now complete and open for use. With that milestone behind us, we’ve now shifted our attention to completing the east side.

You may have noticed a new sign in the parking lot. We kindly ask that large trucks and vehicles with trailers refrain from parking in YMCA spaces. Additionally, as we continue our work, please be mindful of our limited handicap spots; these are crucial until the west side is finished.

This parking lot upgrade is just the first phase of a larger vision for our facility—a vision that includes a brand-new gymnasium. As our CEO, Koby Myer, explained, 'It was essential that we finish our parking lot so we can start on phase two of the bigger project, which is our gymnasium.' This critical step involved not only addressing the underlying drainage systems but also expanding parking, creating a safe walking pathway, and installing safety lighting. These were necessary improvements and they have set the stage for the next phase of our expansion.
